[edit] merge w/ Vestibular system? (redundance)
There's another complete section about this topic - I don't think these two should co-exist. Torzsmokus 09:27, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose the merge. Corneal reflex, pupillary reflex, gag reflex and oculocephalic reflex stand on their own. I think the reflex can stand on its own and many people that are interested learning about the reflex don't have much interest in knowing the details of the vestibular system. The vestibular system article, IMHO, should be changed to have be like renal failure or dialysis -- with "main" article links, e.g. {{main|Vestibulo-ocular reflex}}.Nephron T|C 21:35, 13 January 2007 (UTC)
- Oppose the merge. I feel the vestibular system and VOR can each have their own article. My vote would be to strip down the section on the VOR in the vestibular system page and use a main article link. --Selket 06:56, 22 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Medial Longitudinal Fasciculus (MLF)
My sources tell me that the signal goes from the vestibular nuclei to the occulomotor nuclei via the MLF, and that this is the DIRECT pathway (as opposed to the indirect, which goes via the reticular activating system). Could someone clarify this please? —Preceding unsigned comment added by Jkokavec (talk • contribs) 08:44, 30 March 2008 (UTC)
