Verkilambi is a panchayat town in Kanniyakumari district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Verkilambi had a population of 17,982. Males constitute 49% of the population and females 51%. Verkilambi has an average literacy rate of 75%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 76%, and female literacy is 74%. In Verkilambi, 11% of the population is under 6 years of age.
