Is this the same party as the 1990 Independent Progressive Coalition in Vermont? Kingturtle 09:08, 16 Jun 2004 (UTC)

What's its program ? How does it differ from the Democratic Party ? Why the "split" ? --FvdP 17:03, 26 May 2005 (UTC)

Bernie Sanders spoke to a room of 20-30 students at my high school (Champlain Valley Union) back in 1994. He spoke of Social Darwinism, and strongly implied that financially successfully individuals derive their wealth from being dishonest and underhanded. (Apparently he didn’t believe education or hard work had anything to do with it.) Cool guy to base your party on!

[edit] Why I added the Cleanup tag

1) Tone/style less than ideal for an encyclopedia. 2) Lack of formal sourcing of any kind. 3) Much of the text of the article seems to be rewritten from material on the party's website. I'll do what I can here and there, when I have time. Ripogenus77 17:18, 8 October 2006 (UTC)

Agreed. This article was not only NOT updated upon me seeing it, the style/tone sucked to be honest. --Revolución hablar ver 10:28, 10 November 2006 (UTC)
