The proposed deletion of this article has been contested with comment: "There's enough hits on this that it can certainly be expanded and sourced, 17 books indicates notability."

In my opinion, the 17 books as such do not imply notability. Secondary sources need to be added to the article (now a stub after removal of copyright-violating content). I will add the notability tag again, plus the "unreferenced" tag to request sources. --B. Wolterding 19:46, 28 September 2007 (UTC)

• 17 books implies someone has written about them, they're not self-published. A very quick Google search also brings up cartoons, greeting cards, and figurines featuring this character. I'm absolutely convinced it meets the notability guideline. It does need sourcing, I admit. Maybe I'll adopt this article and look for some. --UsaSatsui 20:08, 28 September 2007 (UTC)
