Venture Teams Intl. is a non-profit Christian missions organization. VTI is headquartered in Calgary, Alberta with a training center in Water Valley, Alberta. Their focus is to train teams of high-school and college-age youth to share their Christian faith with people overseas and in their home towns. Teams are trained primarily in stage arts like drama, music, illusion, puppets, and chalk-art. Over 125 Teams have served in 35-plus countries.

[edit] Friends & Followers
This team functions for a period of 9 months which requires that applicants are out of high-school. Age minimum is 18yrs. Team sizes generally vary between 6-11 people. These teams usually spend 2 months training, 4.5 months in one or more overseas countries and the rest of their time traveling North America. F&F have the opportunity to write their own scripts, music, and chalk-arts for presentation.

As an extension of the Friends & Followers team, this team has the same requirements. Encore is primarily a recruitment or "mobilization" team that travels North America. Fund raised amount is less than F&F due to no airfare needed.
[edit] GAP - Go And Preach
GAP is intended for those still in high-school. It is a trip usually 6 weeks long (2 weeks training and 4 overseas) and begins early July. The program these teams will preform is usually given to them in a "canned" form -- all the material is written and just needs to be memorized and practiced.
[edit] Family Adventure
A trip designed specifically for families, the age min is 5 years old. Team sizes average around 25 people. This team is during spring break (end of March).
[edit] Spring BreakOut
This team is with Church youth or School groups that want to experience life overseas as missionaries. Minimum age is 14 years and groups range from 10-25 people per team.
