Ventastega was a Tiktaalik-like tetrapodomorph that lived in the Late Devonian time. Ventastega probably lived in swamps or freshwater lakes. Like Tiktaalik, Ventastega probably didn't have digits or limbs, but it probably had paddle-like limbs (or fins). It was probably more aquatic than terrestrial.
