[edit] Channel transfers

I'm not a railway buff but as seperate carriages are used in UK and continental Europe I presume that passages are conveyed by coach on Eurotunnel or by train from Ashford on Eurostar. A cursory reading of the article would suggest that the OE travels through the tunnel. 89.240.15.49 09:30, 1 June 2007 (UTC) Yes to coach.

[edit] Simplon?

We could also do with a mention of why the line is named Venice-Simplon. Presumably the Simplon part comes from the Simplon pass. -- Solipsist 08:26, 21 September 2007 (UTC)
