Just for the record, the 1992 computer game The Lost Files of Sherlock Holmes: The Case of the Serrated Scalpel, which is set in 1888 and depicts the Victorian age quite impressively, notes that a bicycle manufactured at James Starley's works with Dunlop pneumatic tyres threatens to make other types of velocipedes obsolete.
