Vavá, real name Edvaldo Izídio Neto, (born November 12, 1934 in Recife, Brazil - January 19, 2002) was a Brazilian football player. His nickname was "Peito de Aço" (Steel Chest). He was a striker (center forwards) for C.R. Vasco da Gama, S.E. Palmeiras and the Brazilian national team.

He received 20 caps with the Brazilian national team, with 15 goals and won both the 1958 and 1962 World Cups (with respectively 5 and 4 goals).

Vavá is one of only four footballers to have achieved the feat of scoring in the final of two different world cups, sharing that honor with Pelé, Zidane and Paul Breitner. He is also one of only four players to have scored three goals in World Cup finals along with Geoff Hurst, Pele and Zidane.
