Varasova or Varassova mountain (Greek: Βαράσοβα, Modern: Akarnaniko, Katharevoussa: Akarnanikon) is a mountain range dominate the northern part of the Aitolia-Akarnania prefecture in western Greece. Its length is approximately 7 km long from northwest to southeast and its width is approximately 2 km wide from southeast to northwest. The Gulf o Patras lies to the south. It is located east of the Evinos river and west of Antirrio. The mountain is surrounded by the GR-5/E55 (Antirrio - Messolongi - Agrinio - Ioannina) and the future Ionia Odos to the northeast. The mountain is one of the slopiest in Greece with its slopes as far as around 75°. Its elevation is at 917 m. The mountain are made up of rocks.

The mountain are almost heavily deforested, it contains bushes and grass at lower elevations, and a rocky landscape with no vegetation higher than 200 m except for some valleys.

Its panorama the mountains to the north and northwest and northeast as well as the Acheloos valley. The northwestern Peloponnese can be seen as well as the Panachaiko, the Erymanthos, Movri and the Mavra Oros mountains as well as the northwestern Ilia Prefecture, on clearer days, it offers a view of the Ionian Islands including Zakynthos. From Patras, the mountain can be seen its width, the mountain view gets wider up to the western part.
