The current discussions, either directly or indirectly, touch on numerous articles. The following is intended to be an inventory of articles directly related to one of the Futharks or runes in general (i.e. excluding inscription articles). Please discuss these in their own sections of this talk page. Also, feel free to add to this list as new topics arise, as well as to delete or strike through topics that have been addressed and/or resolved.

  • Naming conventions: There is no uniformity in the naming of articles on individual runes. Some have the reconstructed term, some have more modern forms of the term; some add (1) (rune), (2) rune, (3) nothing. These issues should be resolved.
  • Cohesion: The articles, though clearly constituting a series, do not give the impression of such a series. The template is very helpful in this regard, but more might be done in the way of a "standard" outline (with natural variations where appropriate).
