Van Snider

Van Snider (Born August 11, 1963 in Birmingham, AL)was a Major League Baseball player who played outfield for the Cincinnati Reds in 1988 and 1989. The Reds traded Jeff Montgomery to the Kansas City Royals for him on February 15, 1988 and he made his ML debut with them on September 2, 1988 against the Chicago Cubs. After the 1989 season he was traded along with Tim Leary for Hal Morris and Rodney Imes. He never again played at the major league level. Van now enjoys a successful career as a Police Oficcer for the City of Mayfield Heights, a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio where he currently holds the rank of Corporal.[1]
