- Vicomte Sébastien de Valmont, a character in the 1782 French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses by Choderlos de Laclos.
- A character in a 1988 film, based on the above novel, starring John Malkovich as Valmont.
- A 1989 movie titled Valmont starring Colin Firth and Annette Bening, based on the above referenced novel and directed by Miloš Forman.
- A character in the 1999 film Cruel Intentions, Sebastian Valmont. The plot in Cruel Intentions is also loosely based on Choderlos de Laclos's novel.
- Valmont, a character in the animated series Jackie Chan Adventures.
- A sanatorium named Valmont in Montreux, Switzerland.
