Valley Arts & Science Academy opened in August, 2007 in central Fresno, CA. It is a charter school serving students in kindergarten and grades 1 through 6. Charter schools are public schools with no tuition or fees. Its educational program emphasizes art, music, and science as well as integrating art, music, and science with reading, English/Language Arts, mathematics, history, and social science.
