Valery Mezague (born December 8, 1983 in Marseille, France) is a Cameroonian footballer. He is a midfielder, and currently plays for French club Le Havre AC.
The midfielder continued to improve, proving to be a great talent. However, in 2003, he was involved in a serious car crash which ruled him out of the game for four months. Despite this he fought back to reclaim his squad place.
His performances attracted the attention of Harry Redknapp, and Mezague joined Portsmouth F.C. on loan for the 2004/05 season. However, he failed to make any sort of positive impression on English football, returning to France in June 2005, where he followed ex Portsmouth Manager Alain Perrin by joing FC Sochaux-Montbéliard.
