Valerie Worth Bahlke (1933-1994) (pen name Valerie Worth) was a poet and author of children's books.

Valerie Worth wrote books of poems including "All the small poems and fourteen more","Animal Poems", and "Peacock and other poems". She has written many poems about many things, like "paperclip", "lawnmower", or "Bear".

Valerie Worth had a husband named George W. Bahlke, a son named Conrad, two daughters named Catherine B. Hornstein and Margaret B. Diskin. Worth had two brothers named Michael and Douglas Worth, and a granddaughter.
