Valda the Iron Maiden is a fictional character a Swords and Sorcery heroine published by DC Comics. She debuted in Arak, Son of Thunder #3 (August 1981), and was created by Roy Thomas and Ernie Chan.

Valda the Iron Maiden is a female knight of Carolus Magnus's court and was one of the Twelve Peers. She later became the love interest of Arak, Son of Thunder.[1]
In current continuity she has been transported to the present day, where she was a member of the extended Shadowpact in the Day of Vengeance Special.
