Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. As a member of the Wikipedia community, I would like to remind you of Wikipedia's neutral-point-of-view policy for editors. In the meantime, please be bold and continue contributing to Wikipedia. Thank you! Rockpocket 07:43, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- Hello! I'm afraid i've never heard his, or Death Cab's, music so i can't really comment. The problem is terms like "music genius" are subjective and therefore against Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy. However, if you could find a notable source that calls him that, you could always quote them! Welcome again, i hope you enjoy editing Wikipedia! Rockpocket 07:57, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Fall Out Boy Infobox
That's not what I was talking about. You removed the | from the end of the genre which screwed it up. And as far as the emo tag, that's something you discuss on the talk page. There's way to many anonymous vandals removing tags from genre's unannounced. Sorry if you got the wrong idea. --DieHard2k5 00:11, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- Thanks. As for the "emo" opinion, i'd suggest entering something in the discussion page. There are a lot of verifyable sources that label F.O.B. as emo, so opinions don't really hold much weight. Thanks for understanding. --DieHard2k5 00:55, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] RE: MCR
The band have nothing to do with goth, that is why I removed it. Read the article on Gothic rock, MCR do not fit that description. Wearing black doesn't make something goth, if it did 99% of the world would be goths.- Deathrocker 07:47, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
Its a negative stereotype of mallgoth and emo culture, but not the actual goth movement itself (from the 1980s). - Deathrocker 09:00, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] License tagging for Image:Pykey.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Pykey.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:
This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 15:07, 11 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Underoath
May I ask why you did this? It's sourced information, and they are most definitely a Christian band. --Hojimachongtalk 17:57, 4 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] David Young (musician)
A tag has been placed on David Young (musician), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.
If you feel that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag) and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.
For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Spellcast 10:50, 7 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Image:Transatlanticism.jpg
Hello Valkyrie Missile, an automated process has found an image or media file tagged as nonfree media, such as fair use. The image (Image:Transatlanticism.jpg) was found at the following location: User:Valkyrie Missile. This image or media will be removed per statement number 9 of our non-free content policy. The image or media will be replaced with Image:NonFreeImageRemoved.svg , so your formatting of your userpage should be fine. The image that was replaced will not be automatically deleted, but it could be deleted at a later date. Articles using the same image should not be affected by my edits. I ask you to please not re-add the image to your userpage and could consider finding a replacement image licensed under either the Creative Commons or GFDL license or released to the public domain. Thanks for your attention and cooperation. User:Gnome (Bot)-talk 04:26, 19 May 2007 (UTC)
