I've declined the speedy tag on this article and removed it since, to my mind, notability is clearly asserted in that this individual is part of the "Amateur Latin Champion" team. If it's still desired to delete this article, then a PROD tag or AfD would be the appropriate mechanism. If anyone has questions or problems, I'm at their service on my talk page.
