Español: Vista de dos de los picos más emblemáticos de la Sierra de Guadarrama (centro de España): la Bola del Mundo (2.265 m), a la izquierda, y La Maliciosa (2.227 m), a la derecha. El ascenso a La Maliciosa por su cara sur (la que se ve en la imagen) es una de las más complicadas de la Sierra de Guadarrama debido a los 1.000 metros de desnivel que hay que salvar y a lo escarpado que es el recorrido. Entre estas dos montañas se asienta el valle de la Barranca, un paraje natural donde hay un denso bosque de pino silvestre y sotobosque de helechos, además de numerosos arroyos y senderos. En el primer término de la imagen se aprecian las aguas del embalse de Navacerrada, con una capacidad máxima de 11.000 Hm³. Esta imagen está tomada el 3 de junio de 2004.
