Vale Brazilian operations map as of 2006. The map was obtained at SEC from the following address: http://www.secinfo.com/DB/SEC/2005-000/0950/123-0069/97-027.gif

This operations map is present and available at SEC 2006 20-F filling in both the Portuguese and English versions of it.

The Operations map was edited. The minerals symbols used by Vale company was replaced by letters in order to make reading easier. The map was updated to the 2006 version because the map available at the above mentioned link lacks 1 line of information, because of this update it now contains as much information as the map available at this link: http://www.secinfo.com/DB/SEC/2006-000/0950/123-0069/79-023.gif

The map available at the last link is the actual version used at the SEC 2006 20-F filling.
