The image serves an important purpose to identify the subject of the article. A free image cannot be taken to replace the current one since the subject is not alive. The image is of low resolution. The image is originally published for the publicity purposes by a non-profit foundation. Its publication on wikipedia would not impact anyone's commercial interest. Therefore, it is believed that the usage of this image by the non-profit WMF for educational purposes constitutes fairuse.
