Should the current Commonwealth flag be used for a list of pre-Commonwealth colonial governor's of the Virginia Colony? Perhaps a royal shield or flag would be more appropriate? VirginiaProp 18:48, 15 August 2007 (UTC)

- There is a not a flag, but there are several versions of the Seal of the Colony of Virginia. The problem is that there is a Virginia Company seal before 1624 that is substantially different than the Royal Colony seal used later. I have a couple of versions I found off the web, but I need to find some that can be uploaded without attribution problems. VirginiaProp 01:06, 16 August 2007 (UTC)
