Could you please see my follow-up comment at Talk:Freedom Socialist Party#UW resource? I can see that your intentions are excellent, but what you are doing is perilously close to wiki-spam, and if you want this to be generally positively viewed, then you need to link these things in a way that inherently documents their relevance. - Jmabel | Talk 21:52, 9 July 2006 (UTC)

- Yes, it is getting long. This page (collections grouped by subject) may be preferable, plus there is a link to a keyword search across the collections. UWDI ced 15:31, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
I cleaned up the entries a bit; took James Gregory's project from underneath the Libraries heading (it's not part of the Libraries). I also made MOHAI and WSHS headings rather than subheadings under HistoryLink, since HistoryLink is a resource not an organization. UWDI ced 20:00, 24 October 2006 (UTC)

While I am sympathetic to your cause, please be aware that you are likely falling afoul of a few Wikipedia policies. Most importantly, "role accounts" are forbidden and you will be blocked if an administrator ever notices (or is told about) your account. You should also look into our conflict of interest guidelines as using Wikipedia exclusively as a vehicle to promote your own collections seems to fall afoul of our COI guidelines. --ElKevbo 18:24, 23 August 2007 (UTC)
Thank you for pointing this out. I'm very interested in staying on Wikipedia's "good side" as I think it's a great tool.
