[edit] Removing photo

I'm going to have to delete the photo currently in place; it was uploaded without permission and the photographer didn't sound keen on having it used. Email extracts:

From me: A photo credited on this site: [1] to Lynn Sharkey has been copied by someone (I don't know who) with no attribution to Wikipedia...
From Lynn: I am happy for my pic to appear on the wolfdog site as I gave them my permission but I don't want it used by some unknown person to advertise on their own behalf. If you wish to use the picture (which has attracted a whole load of attention) then please let me know in what context you would wish it to be used and what you would like to say. This picture is of a wolfdog and not a Utonagan and so is misleading

[edit] Northern Inuit name

From one web site[2] (sense repeated in many others):

As the Inuit dog of Canada has played no part in the development of our dogs and the name Northern Inuit justifiably caused much controversy regarding both type and origin of the breed, we have now renamed them THE UTONAGAN.

Just my opinion on it, but some of the lines such as "His most wonderful trait..." seem to me a bit pro-Utonagan. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 71.71.67.210 (talk • contribs) .

Quite, it almost read like an advert. I've made it much more 'just the facts' - Wikipedia's articles are not ads, they should not say how wonderful or great a thing is. They should simply just describe the thing. Articles are also not "How To" documents, so the section on making concrete fences with specific depths, feeding directions, etc... These do not belong and I have removed them. - Trysha (talk) 21:35, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

I've made this article a bit more neutral and removed many many repeated statements. This article needs a better image (without people, one showing the dog in profile might be nicer). It also really needs some sources. - Trysha (talk) 21:53, 13 September 2006 (UTC)

I removed this section. Describing the dog as having a "completely sound temperament" is non-descriptive and POV. The rest (they don't like to be left alone) is inherent to canis lupus familiaris.
