State Route 152, commonly referred to as Van Winkle Expressway, is a short highway connecting SR-71 in Murray to I-215 in Cottonwood Heights. While not a freeway, there are limited at-grade intersections along the route.

From its western terminus at SR-71, the expressway runs southeast. Besides turning to the south-southeast and then reverting to its original direction, there is no variation in the route's direction. The end of the route is at a junction at I-215.
