Description

A representation of the Utah Centennial Tartan. The Utah Centennial Tartan was recognised as the official state tartan in 1996. The tartan is based upon an early Logan tartan, which was recorded in 1819, the tartan then was named as a Skene tartan until the 1850s. The Utah Centennial Tartan differs from this Logan/Skene tartan in that it has a white strip added onto the older tartan. The first American of Scottish descent who left a permenant mark on Utah was Ephraim Logan, Thread count: W2 B6 R6 B4 R6 G18 R6 W4. (Source: [1]).
