Using Three Words released their debut self-titled EP in March of 2006 with ARIA award winning producer/engineer Anton Hagop. Following the success of their 2005 demo Bedroom Recordings and taking first place in Canberra’s Jim Beam Battle of the Bands local Canberra radio station 104.7FM were quick to secure Using Three Words as Made in Canberra Band of the Month giving the band high rotation throughout June 2006 to coincide with the release of their brand new EP. Using Three Words' popularity was only further increased by their finalist position in Triple J's Unearthed competition in 2006, and subsequent national airplay on the Triple J network.

Using Three Words are currently working on material for their first full length album to be released in early 2008.

Using Three Words have supported the likes of After The Fall, Evermore, Switch Three, The Screaming Jets and the Devoted Few as well as headlining a number of their own shows nationally.

Bedroom Recordings

Using Three Words demo recording 'Bedroom Recordings' was recorded entirely by the band at 'The Bedroom on the Left Studios' and mixed by guitarist Damo Blankley during the winter of 2005. Nigel Johnson (drive time announcer for Canberra Radio Station 104.7) has described the song 'Give Me a Sec' off the demo as 'a perfect Song'.
