Usher Raymond's Filmography
In 1998, Usher played the part of Gabe Santora, a student terrorized by his alien techers in the film The Faculty. In 1999, he secured a small role as a campus DJ in the movie She’s All That, acting alongside teen idol Freddie Prinze Jr. Later in 1999, Usher starred as the main character, Lester Dewitt in the drama Light it Up, in which inner city school students lock themselves in their school to obtain better learning conditions. In 2001, Usher played Randolph Douglas Scipio in the Western film Texas Rangers, which did not gain overwhelming acclaim. Usher’s most recent film appearance was in 2005 in In The Mix. In this film, Usher played the main role, a DJ named Darrell. In addition to these movie roles, Usher has acted in several television shows including UPN’s Moesha, ABC’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and NBC’s American Dreams, as the late Marvin Gaye.
