United States Forest Service railcar displayed at Williams, Arizona

AT&SF RAILWAY

Delivered July 14, 1930 to Williams, AZ
for US Forest Service use to monitor
logging in the Kaibab National Forest.

Restored by a collector in
South Dakota and purchased by the
Grand Canyon Chapter National Railway Historical Society.
Will eventually be displayed at the Arizona State Railroad Museum
and may be run at special events.

Features special order dark green paint, gold lettering,
[railway signaling] torpedo proof 14 inch wheels and hubs, magneto ignition.
