There are quite a few variables in this template. Let us assume that a user is, for arguments sake, born on 12th February, 1984. The variables for displaying this exact, auto-updating age are as follows:
{{user exact age|23|year=1984|month=4|day=17}}
Because it is wiki, typing out the preceding would produce a userbox like this:
| 23 | This user is 24 years, 3 months and 30 days old. |
See? Very simple, and its auto-updating!
