Usage of lethal injection for capital punishment in the US. Color scheme is in line with other US method maps. Blank map is from Wikicommons (Map of USA showing unlabeled state boundaries.png, public domain).

I release it into public domain.

Updated April 9th, 2007 to correct Connecticut, which should be black.

[edit] Color scheme

• BLACK states use ONLY lethal injection.
  
• Dark RED states use lethal injection as the PRIMARY method.
  
• GREEN states once used lethal injection, but no longer do so.

• TEAL states retain this method as a secondary method only
