| Description |
Arizona-specific U.S. Route 66 shield in the style used from 1926 to the 1940s. Uses the US Highway Old Style font [1] (United States law does not permit the copyrighting of typeface designs, and the fonts are meant to be copies of a U.S. Government-produced work anyway). Design based on a number of previous files:

Both images are licensed under the GNU Free Documentation License, version 1.2. Modifications from previous versions include the addition of a white background to the shield, the removal of excess white space around the shield and the revamping of the text present on the shield.
