The front of a 1934a US $5 Hawaii emergency note. This was used during WWII in Hawaii. If the Japanese ever invaded Hawaii, this note could be rendered non-legal tender.

Difference from a normal five dollar Bill
-Brown Serial Numbers and Treasury seal
-Hawaii is printed vertical on both side of the front and across the back side
