Dansk: Den gamle kirke i Upernavik, Grønland. Kirken er oprindeligt opført 1839 og er dermed den næstældste eksisterende bygning i Upernavik. Kirken blev i 1882 udvidet med kirketårnet. Årstallet genfindes på vejrhanen som er synlig i fotografiet. Bygningen fungerede desuden som sysselrådssal i perioden 1925-1950. Da sysselrådets mødelokale stod tomt efter indførelsen af en kommunalbestyrelse blev bygningen omdannet til museum i starten af 1950-erne af Andreas Lund-Drosvad i samarbejde med kæmner Knudsen.
English: The old church in Upernavik, Greenland. The church was originally built in 1839 making it the second-oldest existing building in Upernavik. The church was extended with the tower in 1882. This year is also visible on the wheathercock in the photo. In the period 1925-1950 the building was used by a local administrative authority called the Sysselraad. This usage ended with the introduction of a town council in 1950. In the beginning of the 1950-ties, the building was turned into a museum by Andreas Lund-Drosvad in cooperation with camerarius Knudsen.
