Unterseeboot 70

Unterseeboot 70 or U-70 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War and the Second World War.

  • Unterseeboot 70 (1915) was launched in 1915 and operated in the First Battle of the Atlantic during the First World War before being surrendered in 1918
    • During the First World War, Germany also operated two other U-boats with similar designations:
      • Unterseeboot B-70 was launched in 1917 and went missing after 5 May 1917
      • Unterseeboot C-70 was built in 1916 and sunk 28 August 1918
