The following sentence concerning the view of the Admirality in relation to submarines is not so easy to justify: "Members of the Admiralty who had considered submarines to be mere "toys" no longer expressed that opinion after this event." Which members of the Board of the Admiralty, and when are are not expressed. I propose discussing the fact that the Admirality suppressed the extent of the losses to prvent loss in public faith of the Fleet.
