The Unstriped Ground Squirrel (Xerus rutilus) is a species of rodent in the Sciuridae family. It is found in Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Kenya, Somalia, Sudan, Tanzania, and Uganda. Its natural habitats are dry savanna and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
