Unoprostone isopropyl is typically used as an ingredient in eyedrops used to treat glaucoma. Brand names include Rescla. Unoprostone isopropyl is a docosanoid, a structural analogue of an inactive biosynthetic cyclic derivative of arachidonic acid. Practically insoluble in water, it is provided in a 0.15% aqueous solution.
