University of Victoria Faculty of Law

University of Victoria Faculty of Law is a law school in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada. The school was ranked fourth in Canada by the Canadian Lawyer Magazine in its 2007 Report Card on Canadian Law Schools [1].
The Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria maintained its number one ranking for 8 of the last 11 years (being number one the previous year)

Admission to the Faculty of Law is highly competitive; in 2005 approximately 1023 applicants competed for 80 regular seats, 15 special access seats and 5 Aboriginal seats available. For the regular category admission, LSAT is required, and the mean LSAT score in recent years has ranged between 161 and 165, whereas the mean undergraduate GPA has ranged from 3.4 to 3.68 on a 4.00 scale. [2]. 66% of the students are women, and 29% are visible minorities. [3]
