University of Alberta Conservative Association

The University of Alberta Conservative Association is considered the Conservative Party of Canada's flagship campus club. Founded in 2004 at the University of Alberta, the University of Alberta Conservative Association is the oldest Campus organization for the party.[1] In 2008 the club was formally recognized by the Conservative Party of Canada's new campus club program.[2]

[edit] Board of Directors

The University of Alberta Conservative Association's board of directors consists of twelve members. The executive is chaired by a president and five respective vice presidents. The University of Alberta Conservative Association has a senate that comprises past presidents of the association as well as honorable members elected by the board and approved by the senate. The board of directors are elected each spring at a scheduled annual general meeting. Members of the Senate hold permanent positions.
