Universidade Federal de São Carlos

The Federal University of São Carlos (UFSCar) was created in 1968 and is located in São Carlos, State of São Paulo, Brazil, as well as in Araras and Sorocaba where it has a campus. It offers courses in most major areas of study.

UFSCar buildings have been recently expanded to accommodate a medicine course. Also, UFSCar has been implementing another campus outside São Carlos, to accommodate Elearning. This new unit is being build in São José dos Campos.
