Universidad Católica del Uruguay Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga

The Universidad Católica del Uruguay Dámaso Antonio Larrañaga (in English: Catholic university of Uruguay) is a private university in Uruguay opened in 1985 (from various previous catholic teaching institutions). It was the only private university of the country for 11 years until 1996.
It is mainly located in Montevideo (with 6 locations in the city), but has also 2 other locations (one in Maldonado, Uruguay and one in Salto, Uruguay).
It has 5 departments:
- Humanities
- Management
- Law
- Engineering and Technologies
- Health department: Nursing, Dentistry, Psychology
