The United Arab Command (UAC) was an organization created by the Arab League, under the direction of Nasser, in January, 1964. It was created for two purposes. Firstly, it was to protect the Arab League's project to drastically reduce the amount of water flowing into Israel by diverting the Jordan at its source. Secondly, the UAC was to plan for a major offensive, involving all the Arab League members, against Israel.
