Union Construction Company
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Union Construction Company was a short-lived manufacturer of trams and rolling stock in the 1920s and 1930s. The company was set up by the Underground Electric Railways Company of London Limited (prior to the creation of London Transport in 1933) and was based at Feltham, Middlesex, England.
The company was best known for building a fleet of 100 double deck tramcars for London, known as the "Feltham" trams. It also built some Standard Stock tube trains for the London Underground.
