Uninotes.org

Uninotes.org is a wiki based site for the free distribution of University and College notes. The site works in a similar manner to wikipedia, with users putting up their own notes and content in relation to a particular subject or course so that their peers can access (and modify) them.
The site is currently in the early stages, as it is less than 6 months old, and has a limited user-base.

The site was set up in 2006, and in it's initial six months was only used by students studying Computer Science in Trinity College Dublin

The site has the potential to grow as word of mouth spreads. Since the site is reliant on user participation and content, it will require a community to form around it before it can really take off.

The site runs the MediaWiki software, just like Wikipedia and all the Wikimedia projects.
