UniCredit Ţiriac Bank was formed through double fusion, first between Banca Ion Ţiriac and HVB Bank Romania which formed HVB Ţiriac Bank and second , between HVB Ţiriac Bank and UniCredit Romania. The bank is part of Italian group UniCredit who operates in 20 countries.
