[edit] Student numbers

The student numbers currently quoted in the article look way out. They are approximately twice those quoted on the University's own Facts & Figures page (~20,000 students vs. ~10,000 students). —Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.25.60 (talk) 16:32, 27 April 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Agricultural

I have reverted the alteration to the description of the extent of the University's agricultural campus from km² back to Hectares. The text of the article makes clear that the campus is an agricultural college and a working farm. Thus, a figure given in Hectares allows meaningful comparison with other agricultural colleges and articles dealing with types of farming. TheVenerableBede 09:03, 7 Feb 2005 (UTC)

[edit] University ratings

(I'm posting this to all articles on UK universities as so far discussion hasn't really taken off on Wikipedia:WikiProject Universities.)

There needs to be a broader convention about which university rankings to include in articles. Currently it seems most pages are listing primarily those that show the institution at its best (or worst in a few cases). See Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Universities#University ratings. [edit] Lifts

Is the thing about the lifts having different accents really note worthy? (oh and fyi the lift in the LPAC is a scot)

On a more serious note, do people think the lpac building is note worthy enough to get its own section, with it the university has one of the largest theatres in lincoln and one of the most modern univeristy theatres. Struds (talk) 00:58, 23 January 2008 (UTC)

I don't think the lifts' accents are noteworthy either, Struds. Also, have added a section under Facilities for the LPAC, and will expand Facilities further when I get time. 217.44.25.60 (talk) 16:34, 27 April 2008 (UTC)
