Doesn't UH-CL have some intermural teams that at one point were using the UN-official name of Hurricanes?
Yes, they did. No evidence of it recently. At one point there were green and blue UH-CL Hurricane shirts being sold in the bookstore. Too bad, a lot more appropriate and cooler than "Blocky." Railgun 14:11, 26 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Copyright problem

Yes, looks like Uhclcommunications is the culprit. WhisperToMe tried to revert it to no avail. Feel free to revert it back to 18:58, 2007 April 15 and we'll keep a watch on it. Railgun 01:21, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
- OK, done. Postoak 05:03, 23 June 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Campus buildings
We could expound a great deal about campus buildings and their history, but I'm not sure how much information this article really needs about the physical plant. For instance, the Delta Building used to be a gym when PE was required to graduate from all Texas universities, but it was renovated in 1995 into the computer classroom building. Also, nothing is posted about the Student Services building, but I think we need to establish some guidance first for how detailed this article needs to be. Ditto above for academics.Dublin dave (talk) 21:57, 18 February 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Mascot and Shared Governance
I changed the section on the mascot. Our official mascot is the egret. Also I added a blurb in miscellaneous about the Shared Governance model UHCL uses. I figured it should be mentioned. User: SChaos1701 —Preceding comment was added at 19:09, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
