I have changed the statement about this being the only University station in the UK. Firstly, the qualifier "main line" is needed, as there is a University station on the Tyne & Wear Metro. Secondly, there's the matter of there being a University station in Coleraine (NIR) - hence GB not UK. 82.36.26.229 01:19, 4 Jun 2005 (UTC)

I have heard a claim that Birmingham University actually owns the station, but I suspect it may be untrue. Anyone know anything about that? 128.232.250.254 10:52, 13 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Shop opened in which year?

I just removed the statement that the shop on Platform 1 was opened in 2005. Whilst the brown-coloured coffee shop (is it called Smart or something?) was opened around 2005, there was definitely a cheap-looking shop in the same place before it, which closed in 2004 I think. If anyone knows how long there has been a shop on Platform 1, feel free to add it in. Otherwise, I think it should stay out. GoldenTie 16:37, 5 August 2007 (UTC)
